Shooting film…

By Anna | August 12, 2008

I finally took my old film camera out of the box yesterday and I went to the park to remind myself how it feels to shoot and be unable to see the results right away. Strange. I was shooting film for couple of years before I got my first digital camera and it was so natural to shoot and wait to see the pictures. I remember how excited I was when I had to spend the whole night in my little darkroom making proofs. I liked that so much! And now I got so used to shooting and looking at what I did. I got used to coming home, downloading the pictures and looking at them couple minutes later. It’s faster, more convenient and cleaner, but there is something missing. So, I decided to shoot film sometimes. I just have to practice how to be patient and wait. Maybe one day I’ll set up my little darkroom again :-) .

I was a beautiful, crisp evening. The kind of an evening you want to spend outside walking among flowers and contemplating.

Here is a couple of pictures I took with my digital camera, so I could post them today.
