Heather asked me to photograph her family a couple months ago. She loves fall, so we decided to wait for the colors. About two weeks ago the weather was just about right. We went to explore the nearby park and I have to say I was really pleased with the colors we found. All my “models” were great to work with and I hope they had as much fun as I did. Amy and Matt | Wedding - October 4, 2008

I met Amy at Ruby Room in Wicker Park. Great place to relax and rejuvenate. One day I should take a trip there with my girlfriends…a day at the spa:-).

I really like to photograph the “getting ready” part. All those girl’s giggling, laughing, talking about make up, hair, clothes, shoes…I like to be in the middle of this excitement and happiness so much! There is something special about this part of the wedding day for sure.

A few details:

Last corrections just before the ceremony.

The ceremony and dinner was held at the Chaise Lounge restaurant in Bucktown.

After formals we went for a quick photo session in the neighborhood.

First dance.

The cake was delicious :-).

I want to show you couple of pictures Paul took. I really like them.

He took a lot of great candid images while I was doing formals.

Amy and Matt - Wedding (sneak peek)

Yesterday I photographed a beautiful, intimate and touching wedding. Amy and Matt are such a sweethearts. I felt very comfortable with them and their loving family. It was a gorgeous, sunny day and I can’t tell you how excited I was to be their photographer. I’ll be posting pictures from that day tomorrow, but I just want to give you a little sneak peek today.
