Jenni and Steve | Chicago Engagement Session
By Anna | August 21, 2010
It was a very nice and fun session. Jenni and Steve are kind and easygoing. We got along really well and I enjoyed every minute of these two hours we spent together. They brought their dogs, Bronson and Lola for the first part of the session. For the second part of the session we went to explore the neighborhood and we ended up at the Lincoln Park Alfred Caldwell Lily Pool. Steve likes and collects vinyl, so on a way to Lily Pool we stopped at Dave’s Records for some fun shots. Two weeks ago Jenni and Steve exchanged their vows. I can’t wait to share their wedding images with you.
I would like to say thank you to Katarzyna Matwiejuk for coming along with me, keeping us company and helping me caring my stuff. Thank you Kasia! I’m looking forward to see the images you took.

Grazyna and Stanislaw | Wheaton and Naperville Engagement Session
By Anna | August 4, 2010
It was a very unusual engagement session. Grazyna and Stanislaw were born in Polish mountains and they decided to wear their traditional clothes during the first part of their engagement session. It was a great idea. I liked the colors and details a lot. My father comes from the same area, so this session brought memories and big smile on my face. I’m looking forward to photograph their wedding in September!
First we went to Cantigny Park inWheaton.

They chose downtown Naperville for the second location.

Annie and Tom | Wedding at The Homestead, Glen Arbor, MI
By Anna | July 28, 2010
I was very happy when Annie told me their wedding would take place in Glen Arbor, Michigan. I always wanted to visit this place, so I decided to spend a few days before the wedding at The Homestead resort with my family. It was a perfect time to go there. Very few tourists and beautiful, spring weather. We all enjoyed our short vacations:).
I like outdoor weddings a lot. I like their simplicity, atmosphere and natural surroundings. Annie and Tom, thank you for sharing your beautiful wedding day with us.

Sarah and Colson| Chicago Wedding
By Anna | July 26, 2010
It’s been a long time since I posted anything on my blog. Summer is busy, days just fly by. I can’t believe July is almost over. I photographed beautiful engagement sessions and weddings, so I think it’s time to share. First Sarah and Colson’s wedding, which we photographed on May 9th. Great couple! I really enjoyed working with them. They were so calm and laid-back, no rush, no stress. Just love and happiness.
Ceremony: New Life Community Church, Chicago
Reception: Salvage One, Chicago

Annie and Tom | Chicago Engagement Session
By Anna | May 11, 2010
It was supposed to rain whole day. I even asked Annie to reschedule, because I was afraid we would not be able to shoot outside at all. They couldn’t meet with me on another day, so we decided to meet and take their pictures in the Field museum. Well, Chicago weather surprised me again. It was a perfect day for an outdoor session. Overcast, most of the time and a sun picking through the clouds at the end of the session. I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed meeting Annie and Thomas, exploring Chicago and laughing with them. I loved to see how they faces lighten every time they looked at each other. Love! I’m so fortunate to document love.
Annie and Thomas, I’m so happy I’ll be soon documenting your wedding day! Oh, and thank you for the coconut ice cream:).
